All the WEB in one container!

The Internet Archive moved its datacenter to a brand new Sun container. So, from now, the whole WEB take place in this small 34m3 container. It's very small compared to the 850 km of shelf space occupied by the US Library of Congress!

Google Chrome - First and last try

After hearing a lot from it, I decided to give the Chrome browser a try...
Installation and first impressions are very good! It's a small application, running fast and (as I can see) reliable. Some minutes after the install, I tried to figure out how to block ads in Chrome. Googling this issue gives me "0" results (apart solutions implying external tools like proxies or ip filtering). And then, suddenly, I remembered the full name of this nice browser: "GOOGLE Chrome". I was then clear that there will probably never be an extension/plugin to block ads on GOOGLE Chrome browser...
So I had to brutally interrupt my first and last try of this wonderful marketing tool to encourage people viewing ads displayed by the google servers... (note for google staff: Nice job guys, very clever way to go around all this ads blockers...)
PS: This post was posted using Chrome ;-)
